Preserving Kashi Math with Nanotechnology: A Modern Approach to Ancient Protection

Kashi Math, Banganga in Mumbai, India, a renowned cultural and historical landmark, faced deterioration due to natural wear and tear. To address this, Vetro Power's Service Team in India applied their state-of-the-art Natural Wood Protect nanocoating, focusing on the dome's intricate wooden structure. This innovative technology offers enhanced durability, water and dirt repellency, UV protection, and termite prevention, ensuring the temple's longevity without altering its appearance. The application process included thorough cleaning, even application, and curing to form a seamless protective barrier. This approach not only preserves the temple's historical and cultural essence but also proves to be cost-effective and environmentally sustainable.

Introduction

Kashi Math, Banganga in Mumbai, India is a cherished cultural and historical landmark, renowned for its beautiful architecture and spiritual significance. Over time, natural wear and tear has threatened its pristine condition, prompting a need to explore innovative preservation methods. 

In this project, Vetro Power’s Service Team in India was approached & employed state-of-the-art nanocoating technology application on wood to safeguard the temple from environmental and biological damage, with a particular focus on the dome's wooden structure.

Application Process

  2. Nanocoating Application: Using specialized equipment, we applied the nanocoating evenly across the temple's interiors, with particular emphasis on the dome's intricate wooden structure.

  3. Final Touches: After application, the coating was left to cure and bond over 24 hours, forming a protective barrier that integrates seamlessly with the temple's materials, with no change in look or feel of the surface.
